This Open skateboards video by Colin Read is one of the best things I have seen in a while. Colin and Open have the right idea when it comes to the skate industry. Skateboarder owned and operated companies are key in an industry where money hungry corporations are taking over. Help keep skating pure. Support your local shops and independently owned companies. Also, check out the promo to Colin’s latest video project TENGU and pick up the video when it’s out. I’m sure it will not disappoint.

Mark Suciu has a serious addiction to skateboarding that goes far beyond anything I have ever seen. He’s released countless parts from 2012-2013 and each and every one of them is nothing less than amazing. How can anyone ever have anything negative to say about him? I’m pretty sure he’s broken some kind of record with the amount of parts he’s put out over the past two years. All hail Suciu and what he brings to skateboarding! He skates differently from anyone I have ever seen and makes skateboarding look as fun as it truly is. He just received the Years Best AM Award but is already pro in my eyes. I strongly believe in giving respect where respect is due. Mark, you’ll never see this but thank you for keeping skateboarding pure!
Handmade - District Millworks from Monster Children TV on Vimeo.
Handmade skateboards made in the good ‘ol USA in the heart of downtown LA. I fully back anyone trying to keep skateboarding in the hands of skateboarders. The guys at District Millworks seem to be doing just that. “They’re not for the wall, they’re for riding”Photo reblogged from Poor Little Pinkus with 5 notes

Congratulations to Mark Suciu for winning the Skateboard Mag’s “Years Best AM Award” He deserved it more than anyone in my opinion. Next step is for Habitat to turn him pro. I’m sure that’s just around the corner…

I feel like Mark Suciu puts out the most consistent footage out of anyone in skateboarding. It’s unbelievable how much he is able to get done. Check out this amazing edit out of San Jose by Justin Albert featuring Suciu and friends.
This remix edit of Marty Murawski is so damn good! I’ll always remember the first time I met Marty. The first time I had ever been skating in AZ, me and my friends were looking for Tempe park. We stumbled across someone that looked like they skated talking on the phone in front of a house. We stopped and asked him for directions to the park. He was kind enough to take a minute away from the phone and tell us how to get there. As we drove away he replied “see you guys there!” Later that night at the park it set in who he actually was. Marty is a great person and a phenomenal skateboarder. He’s extremely underrated and he will always have my respect.

The Philadelphia Experiment from Caste Quality on Vimeo.
Chris Mulhern just put up a new edit entitled “The Philadelphia Experiment” to go along with his new brand and website cast equaulity. Definitely one of the absolute best edits I have seen in skateboarding. Mark Suciu… Goddamn, probably my favorite skateboarder right now. He’s the definition of what skateboarding should be. Using your surroundings to the fullest of your ability and making what isn’t always apparent audacious and pronounced. Can’t compliment this video enough!Post with 1 note
Just when I thought Miami was my favorite GX, Ryan Garshell drops the Puerto Rico edit and blows my mind. GX1000 is hands down one of the best things in skateboarding right now!
